A great start to the College of DuPage Field Trip to Borrego Springs, California. Our first stop was Cochella Preserve near Palm Desert. We did get a good look at a lizard but it turned out to be a Side-blotch, not a Fringe-toed. The Coot seemed to be very tame. More to come later
